Minicraft Servers

How multiplayer works in the web client — without fabricated player counts.

Multiplayer in Minicraft happens inside the web client at minicraft.biz/play, not on this marketing page. This guide explains what to expect before you enter a host address or pick a server from the in-client list.

Connecting from the client

Open the client, choose multiplayer from the main menu, and either select an entry when the list is available or enter host details supplied by a server operator. Compatibility depends on protocol version, proxy settings, and whether the host allows browser clients at all.

Before you join a host

Read the server’s published rules and supported version line. Practice movement in singleplayer using our first session checklist so you are not learning controls on a busy public host. Stable Wi‑Fi or wired internet reduces disconnects during chunk loading.

What we do not publish

Minicraft.biz does not maintain a live directory of third-party servers with online counts, star ratings, or ping scores we cannot verify. Publishing unverified metrics would mislead players. If we add curated listings later, each entry will include source, connection notes, and a last-checked date.

For server owners

Document supported versions and browser connection methods on your own site. Link players to this guide and to multiplayer controls so they understand limits before they arrive. For general sandbox context, see the Minecraft hub.
